Pomponazzi Maintenance & Care Instructions
Following our maintenance and care instructions listed below will ensure your Pomponazzi application will perform to it’s highest standards for years to come.
Pomponazzi Oceania warrants, under the terms and conditions specified herein, that should the surfaces that have been treated with Pomponazziprotective coatings be damaged under the terms of this warranty, Pomponazzi Oceania or its authorised applicator will repair and recoat the damaged area at no cost to the owner, providing the owner maintains the vehicle in the manner outlined within.
Our Pomponazzi 880x coating customers receive a three year warranty from date of application, whilst our Pomponazzi 880xx customers receive a five year warranty from the date of application. All marine application customers receive a three year warranty on either product.
Warranty claims are at the sole discretion of Pomponazzi Australia and our representatives.
Factory glass surfaces coated with 880x/xx shall be warranted against damage caused by weather induced deterioration, such as berry/fruit stains, tree sap damage, bat/bird excrement damage and environmental fruit bat damage. Physical damage to the glass surfaces and owner neglect are not covered under the terms of this warranty.
Factory painted surfaces coated with 880x/xx shall be warranted against damage caused by weather induced deterioration, fading/loss of gloss, berry/fruit stains, tree sap damage, acid rain damage, oxidisation, bat/bird excrement, and environmental fallout damage. Physical damage to the painted surfaces such as vandalism, accident damage, scratches and owner neglect are not covered under the terms of this warranty.
- To maintain validity of this warranty, the owner has a duty of care responsibility to maintain the vehicle as per maintenance instructions.
- This warranty does not cover stone chips, surface rust, abnormal chemical fallout/spillage, chemical damage from suntan lotion, bore water spotting, scratching, abrasions, any form of paint/plastic/metal/rubber imperfections such as flaking, air bubbles, clear coat separation, colour peeling or foreign matter in surfaces.
- Environmental factors, bat/bird excrement, berry/fruit stains must be washed from the vehicle by an approved means within 48 hours of occurrence.
- In the event of damage to the treated surface caused by collision, accident, vandalism, neglect or abuse, the vehicle must be taken after completion of repairs to an authorised Pomponazzi Applicator for retreatment at the owner or insurers expense. Failure to do so will result in warranty being void.
Our Pomponazzi coatings come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the ACL. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Making a Claim:
To make a warranty claim please contact your Pomponazzi Approved Applicator, alternatively you may contact Pomponazzi Australia’s Head Office directly. During the claim process your Pomponazzi Approved Applicator will need to view the application, if the Pomponazzi application is performing as per Pomponazzi Australia’s standards any costs incurred to Pomponazzi Australia or our Approved Applicators will be charged to the client.
